Meet the Team

The Albany team are friendly, professional and all motivated to use their skills and varied life experiences to help those who are grieving. At Albany Funerals you can be assured that a warm and friendly welcome awaits you, underpinned by the highest professional standards and integrity.

Jo Loveridge

Jo lives with her fiance Tim and their three teenage children in Cranbrook.

Jo puts her all into everything she does and works hard to ensure that each family served at Albany Funerals receives the best welcome and dedicated service of her team.

Before Jo launched Albany Funerals, she worked for four years for the United Nations in Rome and three years for PwC in London. Jo loves travelling and speaks French and Italian.

Sam Paterson

Sam lives with her husband Terry and their dog Bella.

Sam is a real people person and goes the extra mile to ensure the families she serves at Albany receive the best care possible.

Sam's aim is to help families feel a little bit better at the hardest time of their life by reducing their stress and anxiety in any way she can.

Sam loves that each day at Albany is always different from the next and she loves what she does.

Before joining the team at Albany Funerals, Sam was an underwriter for Lloyds of London and has also managed Pubs and Restaurants in the local area.

Paul Watts

Paul lives with his partner Sue and a cat called Purdy. When he isn't serving families at Albany, he loves classic cars - his pride and joy is a 1965 Austin Healey - and fishing.

Paul is a dedicated member of the team, taking pride in ensuring that our vehicles are kept in the very best condition and immaculately clean. He gains a great deal of satisfaction by doing his job properly and with his naturally cheerful demeanour he puts families at ease.

He is also partial to a crumpet or two...

Richard Bushen

Richard lives in Maidstone with his wife Jenny and is our Pallbearer and sometimes driver. He has two grown up sons and 5 grandchildren who he absolutely dotes on. He and Jenny also keep doves and they arrange dove releases at both weddings and funerals.

Tim Holloway

Tim lives with his wife Cathy and son Max near Dartford in Kent.

He has 20 years experience accompanying families at funerals as a Funeral Director ensuring everything happens on the day as planned and as the family want.

He serves every funeral with dedication and diligence and has been with us since the very beginning.

Wayne Alexander

Wayne helps write some of our resources on our website and is passionate that people have the information and support they need during bereavement to make the right decisions for themselves.

His passion that families can have a funeral that is right for them springs from his own experience of loss and 12 years' experience as a church leader and Celebrant.

He has been the UK Director of a health charity and is now a management consultant and public speaking coach.

Aine Rawlinson

Aine is our wonderfully efficient administrator. She lives with her husband Chris and their four children in Tonbridge. She has also been a personal friend to Jo for a number of years and is a great support in all areas.

Lily Pickles or 'Pix' for short

Pix is our happy friend who is often in our premises and who brings smiles and laughter.

If you would welcome Pix to be in the meeting, you only have to ask!
