Funeral costs
Because funeral directors pay the third-party costs of a funeral on your behalf, working out what you actually are going to pay can be confusing. To help with this, we have set out some examples below of our full price funerals based on a cremation at Vinters Park and Charing Crematorium, including the standard third-party fees, with a Celebrant or a Minister and a traditional coffin. This is just to give you an idea of the costs involved but everything can be tailored to suit your needs.

What our professional fee includes
- Collection of the person who has died within working hours (9 am – 5 pm)
- Appropriate storage and care of the person who has died for up to 21 days (if a longer lead time for the funeral is desired, a daily charge of £10 will be added)
- Washing and dressing of the person who has died
- Advice and support to the family of the person who has died
- Provision of legal and administrative services and required documentation for the funeral, liaising with all parties, including clergy, celebrants, hospital staff, crematoria and burial personnel, and coroners if applicable
- Arrangement of date and time of the funeral to suit the applicants
- Provision of a professional Funeral Conductor, 4 bearers and our Jaguar hearse on the day of the funeral
- Payment of third-party costs
- Storage of ashes until needed
What this does not include
- Visit to our chapel of rest on appointment (£75) or multiple visits (£150)
- Flowers
- Orders of service (usually £3 per copy printed)
- Live musicians
- Limousines (please add £325 per car)
- A funeral at 2 venues (i.e. Church, then crematorium) please add £250
- Longer funerals (over 4 hours) will be subject to an additional charge of £150
- Collection of the person who has died out of hours or out of area (please add £250)
- Organist (usually between £80-£100)
- Obituary notices (usually between £70-£100)

Minister/Celebrant Fee

Celebrant Fee – From £260
A celebrant is a professional person who will work with you to prepare and perform the ceremony to celebrate and honour the life of the person who has died.
This will include suggestions of readings, poems, hymns and music and other personal rituals.
We have a number of different celebrants that we work with and can recommend to you.
Minister Fee – £260
+ Church fees if service in church proceeding or following the cremation or burial
